DF1 Racing Team on its way to Tours/France – the "European cradle of NASCAR sport"

With best memories from the previous year, DF1 Racing will return to Tours/France. The beautiful city at the Loire organizes successfully for many years now, the well-known American Tours Festival. This year for the first time the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series together with Championnat de France Drift will be the Kick-Off raceweekend as “Tours Motorshow” on 27/28 Juni 2015.
After a successful raceweekend from Christian Malchárek in Brands Hatch, where he started after a great qualifying, in both races from position 6, Christian will come to Tours highly motivated.
Christian Malchárek: In my first race in Brands Hatch with my DF1 car 66 being in 5th position, I got contact from behind, what sent me spinning and in my second race, unfortunately I got a drive-through penalty being at that time on 6th position. So I know, that I can finish my next races being in the first third within my competitors and I hope, that I can show this in Tours. My teammate in Tours – 2014 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Tours winner Mathias Lauda – will give me additional advice to racing the oval in Tours – so I am looking forward for Tours Motorshow at 27./28. Juni 2015.
After Tours the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will go into recess for summer, but not DF1 Racing, where test days at Slovakiaring and Zolder are already booked.
