Hunt revs up for the DF1 Racing Team in 2016

For the upcoming season the DF1 Racing Team signed another top driver with a well-known name. In 2016 Freddie Hunt, son of the 1976 ́s F1 world champion James Hunt, will sit in a stock car for the first time.
A nice fact to know: Hunt ́s team mate is the son of his father ́s main rival. Mathias Lauda will start for DF1 Racing in the upcoming season as well. In this way 40 years after the legendary fight between James Hunt and Niki Lauda their sons will arrange the rematch in an Austrian racing team.
Freddie Hunt: I am very pleased to be driving for DF1 Racing in Euro NASCAR next season alongside Matthias Lauda. DF1 are a great team and they have a prevent track record of winning and competing week in week out at the top. I’m looking forward to pre-season testing next year so I can get to grips with these cars.
DF1 Racing team manager David Prewitt: “For me as an Englishman in this Austrian team, of course, it is something special having a fellow-countryman with such a name under contract. I feel so privileged that I may experience this driver mating.“
